Customer service roles - Ticket Sellers

Join the CityCat team on the Brisbane River. Strong customer service skills, good teamwork and an interest in the marine industry are essential.

Transdev TSL Brisbane Ferries, a Veolia Transdev company, is contracted to operate and maintain Brisbane City Council's CityCat and CityFerry services.

We are currently seeking casual and permanent Ticket Sellers for an immediate start with our CityCat team.  Successful applicants must be available for rostered shift work over a 7 day cycle.

Strong customer service and cash-handling skills and experience and the ability to work as part of a small team in a high-volume public environment whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner are essential.  Qualifications in Elements of Shipboard Safety and a current First Aid certificate are also required.

CityCat Master 4 Skipper

Brisbane Ferries, a Veolia Transdev company and Equal Opportunity employer, is contracted to operate and maintain Brisbane City Council’s CityCat & CityFerry services.

Opportunities are now available for suitably qualified persons to join our team as CityCat Masters. Successful applicants must be available for rostered shift work over a 7 day cycle.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum Master Class 4
  • Minimum Marine Engine Driver Grade 3
  • Valid Senior First Aid Certificate

The ability to work in a high-volume customer focussed environment while maintaining composure and professionalism will be vital. You must have excellent vessel handling and customer service skills, and proven ability to lead a small team.

Successful candidates will need to be available for induction from 25 – 28 June.
