Medical
TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries requires all prospective employees to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug test prior to any offer of employment being made to ensure that prospective employees:

  • Are able to fulfil the inherent requirements of the position that they are being considered for; and
  • Do not, by reason of their health, endanger their own or others' health and safety.
A Company appointed doctor must conduct the pre-employment medical and drug test.

The Company will provide the Doctor with a "Pre-Employment Medical Form"

The Doctor will complete the form and return it to TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries.

While the Company will protect your personal and/or health information from unnecessary disclosure we may need to release details of your personal and/or health information to a Divisional Manager or a Health and Safety Officer for the purposes of assessing your application for employment.

By lodging this application you:

  • Acknowledge that you understand that undertaking a pre-employment medical and drug test is a precondition of employment with TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries.
  • Consent to the Company releasing details of your health information to a Divisional Manager or Health and Safety Officer for the purposes of assessing your application for employment; and
  • Provide your consent for the Doctor to release all health information collect during the tests to an authorised Company Representative.
If you do not agree to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug test, TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries may not be able to offer you employment.

TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries will ensure that it takes all practicable steps to protect any personal and/or health information that it collects about you.

By lodging this application you agree that the Company may:
  • Seek details of you previous work history from past employers for the purposes of assessing your application for employment; and
