Guidelines for Brisbane Ferries website – staff access
- Brisbane Ferries provides staff with access to internal documents placed on its website, in accordance with acceptable usage guidelines. Brisbane Ferries encourages responsible use of this facility for work purposes.
Logging in to Password Protected Area
- Staff members are required to provide a User ID and password to access the Password Protected Area on the Brisbane Ferries website.
- Staff members must logout at the end of each session by closing the browser, to prevent unauthorised persons from potentially accessing the Password Protected Area.
Guiding principles
- Access to work documents via the Brisbane Ferries website is provided by Brisbane Ferries for the purpose of communication, research or administrative services.
- The "IT Acceptable Use" policy makes it clear that all employees and associates of Brisbane Ferries have a responsibility to be ethical and efficient in their official or private use of information provided on the Brisbane Ferries website.
Enforcement

- Staff members are encouraged to report breaches of these guidelines to their supervisor/manager. Staff members have an obligation under Brisbane Ferries' Code of Conduct to report misuse of Brisbane Ferries resources.
