Tickets & Fares

To travel on one of our services, purchase a ticket on board with cash or pick up a go card on board CityCats or at one of more than 500 retail outlets

Your go card is the easy way to travel on any ferry, bus or train in the TransLink network in Brisbane and throughout South East Queensland. A go card is a smart card that can be topped up to store value for travel across the expansive TransLink network. They can also be purchased, topped up and refunded at the Riverside Ferry Information Centre, located opposite the Riverside ferry terminal in Brisbane's CBD.

Concessions are available (with a valid concession card) and offer a discount of up to 30% on fares compared with a single paper ticket.

Fares vary depending on the number of zones travelled. For current ticket and go card prices see the TransLink Fares Schedule at translink.com.au.

TransLink fares decreased on 3 November 2014 by 5%.  See www.translink.com.au for details.

To avoid a $243
on-the-spot fine, make sure you have purchased a valid ticket or touched on with your go card. Concession ticket travellers should always carry a valid concession ID.
